which is stronger 8" toyota or 9" ford

no excuses said:
revamping the rear of my toy and thinking of going to 9" ford (dont bother with the go 14 bolt or 60 :flipoff: :kissmyass: ) Thinking of going 35 spline in the 9" with a spool, staying fullwidth and going disc brakes. So will it be worth it to go to the 9".

If so my rear 8" will be for sale start the bidding :flipoff: :haha: :haha: .

this should be good... :stirpot:

*do you want a 5 or 6 lug ???

They are both crap. Ford nines Suck........If you really look at the total cost to make a 9" reasonably good you could have Mog axles. When you find them they are Reasonably priced and have superior ground clearance. Robin is the only one smart enough to Do it right if you going to spend big money. I would rather have a dana 60 over a nine anyday.:stirpot:

robin is the only one that drives like a jackass, that actually needs 5 ton axles:flipoff: btw even robin himself has admitted to driving like a jackass so im not trying to offend him in anyway.:flipoff:

go back to youre toy axles:flipoff: :kissmyass:

just going to be running this in the rear..

for this year:;

if ya wana keep the toy wheels, brakes etc, go find the cheepest rear 60 you can, lob the ends off, grab a spool anf the gear ratio of your choice, then grab a 35spline dana60/toy hybred kit.. be cheeper in the long run than a 9" with brakes nod housing 35 spl shafts etc. if you were going to stick with 31 spline, dont bother wasting your time or $
