Which lift to go with hmm...

I've been reading forever and not really getting it lol.

(For front suspension)

I've heard front packs made with 79-83 packs tend to be about 1-2" higher than ones made with 84+ packs. Does anyone know if this is true?

Alot of talk about mix and matching packs to make the proper 5-6 front pack. But noone really has a set suggestion on what other pack(s) I should mix with my stock 80 rears. Any personal opinions?

I also see I need a Ubolt kit. Any preferences?

I know the front hangers need to be moved forward. But how do I tell how much? And what do I need to do to compensate for the moving of the axle. Should I got with 2" drop hangers or??

Thanks guys! I'm looking to get a list of everything I need. So I can start purchasing.

I'd love to if I had $1700 laying around. I can do the chevy rear / rear front for under $700

What about doing something like a 4 inch lift and a 2 inch body lift. That should be plenty room to clear 35s and would cost a lot less than $1700...

Wll from what I've read the 63"s in the rear and stocks in the front should give me about 2" of lift. If I add 2" hangers I'll have 6"

Gross body lifts:puke:

+1 thats why i'm going for the suspension lift rather then resulting to a body lift. I hate the way they look. If I had to 1" would be my maxx.

No 2 inch hangers. Cut the fender wells instead. I had less than 4 inches of lift and ran 38.5 sx's....slow and low is the tempo.

For ease of myself I've been looking at the sky manufacturing 63" chevy spring kit.

Any idea of the length of these headers?
