Does anyone know if a Whipple Super Charger takes the place of the Factory Intake?
I have searched and tried to find pictures, but I can't see to find any good pictures.

I have no idea if it will bolt up, but if you put a supercharger in your ride you will die!!!! With that said do what you have to do..... pepper.gif

After you text me today I got on their site and looked around. I couldn't find any pics or info either. I do think that it hangs off to the side of the intake like the other ones pictured. If I were thinking about putting this on I would upgrade the pistons in the engine while you have it out.

If it bolts to the side then I don't think I will run it. It would be fun though.
Brennan you know you would ride. :drinkers:

You know I would after some cage inspection. Where were you this weekend?? You missed out on a lot of non riding. The business is at TK's house getting fixed properly.

The Cage is Bangen, I had to work this weekend and I still don't have my motor back together.
You need to just go ahead and get a V8 ;D

I am not interested in buying one from Whipple because they cost so much money, I was gonna get a deal on a used one, Woodlee you know which one I am talking about.

cole, wanna be sick? I'm building a mall crawler for a dude on rocks and coil overs. he wants an 8.1. I found him one with 74K miles on it with allison and transfer case, harness, brain, intake system, pedal, exhuast past the 02's and everything for $2200  I should have bought it and sold him the engine for that much :spin:

You suck, if you come across another Allison for cheap, please let me know.

Yeah man I do. Get them to pull it out of the box and see if it takes the place of the intake or not. If it does hang off the side of the engine and you run it make sure it will clear your hood before you get it.

You would be much happier with a roots style blower in stead of the one you had last time. Just the way they build boost and all.

I'm not putting a Hood back on my jeep!!

The Whipples for late model GM motors hang off to the side. They relocate the throttle body to the drivers side and then run a inlet hose from the bottom/side of the blower back to the intake manifold. Normally they sit lower than the top of the factory intake.
