What happened to the pound symbol. How did it get renamed hashtag anyway. If I call somewhere that requires a lot of dialing through directories on a phone will they start using hash tag now or say pound for more options still. It took me forever to figure out wtf a hash tag was. That's not saying much though when Rock Rods came out with the rock bouncing to dub step I asked Matt how much it cost to get that "Dubstep" band to let him use their music because they seemed like a pretty popular band. He gave me a hard time about that one for awhile!

I just started wondering what the origin of the symbol was. So I used the same tool that The Adam Lee (I've met him before) used to search for someones name yesterday. Not to derail this thread, but I searched for that criteria too, it was disturbing to say the least.

And I'm pretty sure the "coloreds" didn't start hashtags. Matter of fact, I know they didn't. It's used to trend topics, as in metadata tags. It's all parts of the internets. You know that thing we all spend our time on... hating.

But Way over here really close to the lil city of Atlanta, it's really really popular with the "people of different race " just an observation. I don't ever recall hearing anyone I know say it except one idiot buddy.. That got it from a BLACK station. They beat it to death. ALOT.. but that is way out here in the lil ole town of Atlanta. YOLO "you only live once" is what the kids say to justify doing something stupid, that will ironically probably kill them. I just prefer "hey watch this" or "aww man I can do that". But the kids today are pushing the limits of stupidity. Parkour is gonna be the death of this generation!
