Buddy went to packwood this last weekend and didnt really find any good sign, but saw more bull elk than cows. Said they were everywhere. I CANT W8 TILL NEXT MONTH!!!!

went scouting last weekend up at Dog Lake on White Pass. tons of elk up there to sling arrows at on the 8th. spent the night about 5 miles up the trail, when we hiked out the next morning we ran into a guy who harvested a black bear. bout 180lbs, had some cinnamon color to him as well.

finished the euopean mount today and the hide went to the taxidermist last week. my first attempt at this turned out ok but i got the jaw a little too white, o well

Going Packwood area this year.

Saw a big one at Northwest Trek yesterday. Should have applied for NWT permit.

Shot this one a few years ago at my house. Lets see what you have hangin on your wall or mounted.

theres the elk i shoot with my bow it scored a 347 1/4 pope and young .not bad for a washington elk .
