winch cable

jsut hose it down with PB-Blaster. Works awesome. Or like earlier said. Astro-Glide works pretty good too

but..it really depends on the type of cable uve got. galvanized...or not.

if/when i replace my cable, im getting NON gnized, and just keep it oiled. its stronger, so i can run smaller line.:awesomework:

Reading comprehension POOP...Its a cable on the back of a tow truck. I think a nice stainless hinged cover that was electropolished would look banging.

i agree, a cover would be ideal. could have it mounted in such a way, as to not interfere, while the winch is in use.

How many hours a day though...a cover would help.

So how much is 304 ss wire rope?? Ya done the research yet?
