windshield bar/s

Im just finishing up my cage was wondering about putting some bars in the windshield. Good idea?? Also I have seen a couple different ways to do do it. I have seen like this /\ and like this \/ or just a single on in the middle. Is one way better than the other or just build it to go with the flow of other tubes in the cage?

I put mine like /\ and placed them as close to the window as I could. I actually had to notch th ebar on the pass. side to miss the windshield wiper. Only bad thing is it does block some of my vision with the cross bar when I try to look at the nose of my truck.
