I'm not sure if you want or need to. But I took off quite a bit more of that radius arm mount then you when I cleaned up my chunk. Took off the rest of that mount on the top, pretty much bringing it back to looking like a normal chunk and it still seems plenty beefy. I'm doing the same thing except going +width with 550 knuckles HOPEFULLY, I'm broke and can't get the ones from Pat yet :'(

My thought is leaving that section of the casting will add strength to the housing........maybe, maybe not. If my Truss interferes, it will have to go. We shall see.

I wanted to go with the 05+ or F550 C's & knuckles but I couldn't sell my old axle turn key. So, next axle will likely be 14 bolt with 550 c's & knuckles. But that will be the next buggy...........

Been working on the axle again. At this point, shock tabs, paint and install.

Pressing long side tube. Make sure your chain is up to task..........

Final cuts

Gears set up

Truss installed. LOTS of cut and fit to get this to work with the SD HP60 center section and 3.75" diameter tubes............

Took the buggy out to Crawling for Reid at AOP, to see what this HP 60 is all about.

Weekend went great! New axle took everything I threw at it. I'll have a video of Riot Hill up shortly.

Haven't kept up with this thread. Lost a ton of pics bc of photo bucket taking a ****. Anyhow, recently sold the buggy to @smbroady82 . Did some upgrades as part of our agreement. So I'll share those.

In surgery, this gives you an idea of how things were before. Main change was adding 2.5 radflo coilovers.
