so i heard that 4'' wrangler springs in the rear of a toyota gives it about 7'' in back of a toyota.

is this true?

im lookin for about 8'' of lift to throw on my rear to match the front.

thanks

this is my truck clearing 33s with stock springs so you should have no problem clearing 35s

Is there a difference between the wrangler rears and fronts? What changes did you have to make to the steering?

I assumed these were the rears because I didnt take them off of the jeep but one set is wider than the other I used the wider one I had to clearance the inside of my stock U-bolts and melt out the metal sleeve in the bushing and that is it.... It put my axle back in its stock location and they were very flexy!!

if you want some decent rear lift springs get Rancho 44044's, last i checked they are $200/per spring. they are pretty much useless IMHO in the rear unless you have a ton of weight in the back. but if your looking to just jack up the ass end go get some pro-comp 5" springs. flex like **** but they get the lift job done.

haha I paid $93 a spring ...... somebody is getting screwed:fawkdancesmiley:

And on the bushings part, all you did was melt out the thin metal one that was in the wrangler spring then use stock toyotas?

YOU must be misinformed. The general consensus says that that's only true if you're okay with having a shitty front pinion angle.

Have you ever ran them ???? I have for years and never had a problem with my pinion angle. I can send pics if you like ... you just have to make sure they are 7-leaf waggys and not 5-leaf.
