i know exactly where america would be sithout them to do our work- we would not have millions of americans unemployed. all the lazy ****ers who dont work need to swallow their pride and go to work

That is the reason the chicken companies started bringing them years ago and the farmers brought them here, the lazy Americans would not work. Do you not realize that is the reputation we as a country have to the rest of the world. The way the welfare system is it rewards people for not working.

The same people I spoke of that employ them have tried for years to employ Americans, but they do not want to work.

I capped that word to illustrate what the people that are hiring them are doing. problem is, an honest guy hires a legal person, he has to pay more. it cost at the bare minimum 40% MORE to be legal....you pay taxes and match SS wages. now, the dishonest guy he is competing with is paying half per hour what the honest guy is. he either has more profit or a cheaper product. He doesn't care that its illegal, its green to him. the crook stays in business, the honest guy is out, and on and on.

Cole, your best bet is to call the local ICE office. The Feds are the only ones that can deport an illegal. Most likely nothing will happen, but that is the proper channel.

Who do you think pays for all the medical expenses that they have when they have kids or get seriuosly injured and cant pay the hospital? It comes out of every single american citizens pocket in the long run in some form or fashion. Really sucks. In some way I don't blame them for trying to better their situation, but do it legally. And then obide (spelling?) by the law! In Wyatts and Cole's case I think I would fly off the deep end. It's really starting to get to me.

We pay for the healthcare and medical expenses now of the sorry Americans that live off of the welfare system as it is. Hell our government pays them to not work and have a house full of kids. At least the illegals put money back into the economy through the purchase of goods and services.

As I first stated, I do not agree with them being here illegally and would rather them go through the proper channels to work here legally.

Joel, you are parrotting our president when you say these ILLEGAL immigrants are doing jobs that we won't do. What job wasn't done before these people got here? We were building, cooking, cleaning, manufacturing, etcetera LONG before they came. We see these people in entry level jobs and think how glad we are that we don't have to do THAT. Are you one of the few people that entered the working world as an executive? Most of us had entry level jobs at one time. Many entry level jobs are so crappy that employers have to reward their workers with higher wages (supply and demand). These people are STEALING from us wheather it is jobs, social programs, public education, taxes, sending dollars home (untaxed), health care, property damage, or outright theft. That is because they are criminals (ILLEGAL aliens). If you look at population growth attributed to ILLEGAL's you'll be blown away. Some models show hispanics to be in a majority in this country in 20 short years. They will pass blacks as the largest minority in 3-5 years if nothing changes. How well do you command the spanish language? In case you haven't noticed these people refuse to speak our native tongue and we have complied with their wishes by offering all government services in spanish also. Our European ancestors immigrated to this country legally, filled out applications, were checked for communicable diseases, learned English, found jobs, payed taxes, bought homes, and made positive contributions to this country. This current batch of illegals is untouchable because we've tied our own hands. Maybe I'm already in the minority, but I'm a contractor that refuses to utilize this part of the workforce. These people aren't stupid, if the jobs dried up you couldn't keep them here. Do you really think they are here to help our country grow?

Rich I never said the jobs were not done before they came here, I am saying we have a population that did not and does not want to do the jobs they are doing. There was a need for labor and they were willing to do it. They are willing to work all day every day and do not complain about it. I am well aware these guys move where the work is. If you do not have work for them, they find someone that does. They are here for one thing, make enough money to take care of their families back home. Hopefully they can make enough to go back and not have to live from hand to mouth. With the mess the economy is in contractors and manufacturers are looking for the most productive labor force at the lowest cost they can find. Unfortunately that is usually the illegals. As I said above though, I certainly wish they would come here legally though. I have used guys before that are legal and they dislike the illegals as much as we do. They feel like if they pay taxes and have to be legal the rest should too.

Joel, I didn't mean to pick on you. I just want to show the only Americans that benefit from illegal immigrants is business owners that want to CHEAT the system. This is a TINY minority of Americans. I don't think the rest of us should tolerate the advantages owners of businesses that employ illegals have. I think the owners of these businesses should be prosecuted and their workforce should be shipped out. A county in north Georgia recently passed a law to prohibit contractors with illegal employees from being eligable for contracts. Wow, they had to pass a new law for that?
These jobs that no one wants to do, it is simple economics. It is jobs that people don't want to pay to be done. People will do a job for a fair wage. You may find it difficult to find someone to wipe your ass. I guarantee I'll be first in line for the job if you offer the right wages and benefits. That's what a free market is all about. When illegal non-taxpaying immigrants are introduced, it is no longer a free market because we are no longer competing on a level playing field.

Rich I did not take it that you were picking on me. I know how you love a good debate

Believe me, I totally understand where you are coming from. I agree that business owners that hire illegals and know they are should suffer consequences. In some cases they furnish phony papers and present themselves as legal. I have a friend that is an HR director at a large chicken plant and he runs into that problem a lot. But with out immigrant labor he would not have much of a labor force.

Bosses wife used to be a teacher. She quit for two reasons. 1. She really didn't have to work anymore. 2. Messican kids in school (so to say). She said there is such a communication barrier, that when kids come in smelling bad or dirty that she couldn't tell the parents, because they couldn't understand her. Now of course she taught at one of the smallest elementary schools in the county. Also, she was a kindergarten teacher. It hits us everywhere and alot of people don't realize it.
