WTB - Trail Rig - Budget 15k or less

Clutchee, good to know on your price reduction and that's a going rig.

Jp, appreciate that offer. How far is Rush from you?
About 2.5 hours I haven't been to the park but have been in the area a lot for work. Hopefully it will have some good spots to watch from

That's quite a bit closer for you then. It's now a little over 6 hours away for us, so not 100% if we will or won't be attending the Ultra4 race at Rush.

I have a 1 ton JK Rubicon trail rig that i'm going to pull a few parts off and list it soon. PM me if interested

Assuming it's the one you've got over in the Vehicles for Sale section, that's a sharp rig. Probably not going to be in our price range though and looking for something more ready to run.

Wanted to Buy. Looking for a trail rig to replace the current Gayzr. Budget is $15,000 or less. There's some wiggle room in that amount, but not much.

Engine, transmission, axles, tires, number of seats, buggy, juggy, truggy, location, etc doesn't really matter. Currently we have considered everything from chopped up Sami's, to truggies, to full one-ton tube buggies.

Just seeing what all is out there whether it's officially for sale/sell/sail/cell or not.

Post links and information here or contact me directly at 931-three nine seven-3319.
I have my 84 CJ on here for sale.
v8, Spyder9 and AtlasII 4.3. Wheels like a champ. Been all over the SE, Moab and Hammers.
I'd take 15 cash

I understand that's a good haul for sure let me know if you decide to make it

Jpwilson, cool looking Sami rig. May be back in touch once we figure out what we are actually looking for rig wise.

Chevycrawlr, I've looked at that rigs listing a few different times, but a little too far north of what we are looking to spend.

I have got a really well built Cherokee Id consider selling. Its not listed anywhere. I just dont have much time to ride. 60/14 bolt, RCV's, coil overs, Red labels, nice cage. I will post some pics.

Sounds good. I figure whether I end up buying something listed in this thread or not, maybe someone else will find a rig they want as well.

I was looking though the Facebook thread, and other classifieds, and am genuinely curious what the difference in a $6-8K rig and a $15-16K rig.

On some of the them it doesn't look like that $8-10K buys much comparatively.

I noticed the pricing in that thread was all over the place too. I was shocked by how many possible rigs got posted in just 24 hours in the FaceSpace thread. Got several rigs sent to me by forum members after yesterday's weekly email went out too.

some of them $6-8K one ton rigs probably need some wiring clean up, clean up some ghetto fab, etc. Lots of room to work with there.

I'd suggest buying something with tons in it already. Unless you're going for the super light weight minimalist 4cyl buggy.

I figure most everything in this price range will need some tweaks (wiring, clean up, panels, etc). As for preferred rig type, that seems to change with the wind. One day its a weepow Sami with some body; then the next its tons, some body panels, and small V8; then the next its weepow tube buggy; and then the next its back to tons, tubes, and 6/8 cylinders.

At this point the only rig type ruled out is rockwells due to width and height restrictions.
