York oil

So what type of oil would be best to run in a York AC compressor converted for air ?

30wt non det. same as you run in a normal recip air comp. regular oil will carbon when hot

I think I put 10w30 in mine like 6 years ago....

any oil will work, but the straight up 30wt is prolly the best. one of the most common oils for a/c comps is mineral based very similar to like 30wt just keep in mind that a/c comps circulate some oil normally, so you should use an oil h20 seperator too:awesomework:

I've got a bottle of AC compressor oil. Only takes a little. Stop by and I'll give you some.
