Just got that 97? You should call Ford and have it checked for the cam position sensor recall.

Have had it about a year now,and actually I did get the recall done, the same day this pic was taken;they washed it---Back in December!!!!I was one of the first to mention the recall here(don't remember which thread!:redneck: ); the story goes(again);
" I called our local dealer with my VIN to see if my truck was valid for the C/C switch leaking onto the module,causing fire- He checked and responded "no, but yours is one listed for the CPS recall we just opened this morning, when can we take care of this for you?"
Now, being a tech at an independent shop, I was gonna change it anyway for P.M., and if they let me watch as it was changed-I was fine with that...
I know it's a simple job, but I have issues with others working on my stuff!They did a fine job,washed it, and I left w/ no bill!!!
I appreciate the heads up, though!!:awesomework: Now, if they'd open a recall for the damn leaky lift pump, I'd be set!!!

Truck and my old 4runner
Well here's my 98 1/2 dodge quad cad short box so yes its the 12 valve with the newer style interior it started out an auto but i swamped the stick in about two weeks after i got it witch tows way better! cause all i ever use it for is towing my car trailer or my 33' fithwheel toy hauler after the trans swap i put a new super 40 turbo, with 4'' from the turbo back, AFE intake, 380 injectors, all new injectshion pump with a modified 0 fuel plate in it . then i threw some 20's with 37" nitto's, and a dvd player in side and called it good Towing it gets about 17 mile to the gallon not to bad really seems you can hook it up to just about anything and it will pull it.
