IT WONT WORK!!!!!!!
Now i feel better.:haha:
Actually, a JK has 30 spline inners, 32 spline outters.
Really i was just talking out my ass.:redneck: :haha:
I would have to ask " So what else is NEW??" Don't you always talk out your ass??
Here is your poster boy Bobby. This rig would be perfect.:awesomework:
Here is another picture of Brad's TJ. This was taken at Naches before the new cage, front axle, Reiter damage, etc.
Good guy who lives on South Hill not too far from Bobby's shop. We generally wheel twice a month and he is definetely not afraid of beating on the thing. We usually wheel at Elbe, Evans, and Naches. Been to Reiter a few times as we discover where the good stuff is at.
I know it is a clean rig but that is mainly because it was straight when he purchased it. Not a daily driver but it does see occasional street use. Gets trailered to/from the trail.
He gets my vote:awesomework:
The picture is pre-front axle swap and before a couple Reiter Trips. It has sustained body damage (I believe all four corners) and wheels it more and more as he progresses in the hobby.
The front axle that was in blew the F__k up, the new 44 is running Alloy axles and joints, no problems as of yet.
This is your guy Bobby. I have some updated pics of this rig that I'll load up later tonight or tomorrow, it has taken some body damage but he still keeps it clean :fawkdancesmiley: He's friendly with the throttle...maybe more than he should be. I've wheeled with him at Naches, Funny/Moon rocks, Elbe, and Reiter and think he'd be a good guinea pig.
FYI-I just did the chromo 30sp outer conversion on my rig (with longfield joints of course :awesomework: ), it will be a good side by side comparison. Just don't come out with these for the older D44's since I already upgraded. :kissmyass:
Edit-just saw your latest post, he is capable of the interweb and will be on shortly :redneck:
Still looking for a very capable rubicon equipped dana 44 with big tires that gets abused quite a bit..........no daily drivers like the street jeep pictured above.
Mine is NO where close to a daily driver. It may look like a stock bodied rig, but I abuse the piss outta it!! I take it out at least twice a month if not more.
He will someday. Gonna see how the tj works out first i guess.
I vote for Mumblewood. I'd enter as a candidate but I'm running Warn hubs now. I'm very curious how these will compare to Superior or Alloy USA axles with CTM's.
We have tested most of the cromoly Dana 44 u-joint axle. These are still stronger.
You read that wrong.... he didnt mean your was a dd.... he was saying that the the jeep that will get it will have to be like yours and used.
Calling TQJ CJ5.
Terry.....do work son.
