Feeling Groovy

Here are mine right after Crazy Daze did it.

the swampers turned out really well, the iroks could have used more latteral cuts rather then the diagonal and radial cuts but for the most part i just opened up the areas where the factory sipes used to be. 1/4 blade on ideal groover... i take this thing to all my tires when they hit 40-50% tread really brings them back to life.

all I use is a 1/4" blade and go through twice...faster than pushing a 1/2" through once

Love the girlfriend's comp cut tires...:redneck:

I like the way you did the outer lugs.

Thanks, they have been working pretty good...

I do mine like this but I take 1/2" out in the center lugs and I leave the outer lugs alone

I wanted to be able to go back and add more biting edges on later if need be... The outer lugs, I figured I would start a bit in to try and stop them from chunking to badly...

What blade size?

Looks like a #6 or #8?

#6... It seems to work perfect for 38" to 42" tires...

I actually thought about not going as deep, then groove the middle of my fresh grooves deeper with a #2 or #4... Sort of mimic the steps on the edges of the Iroks... If that makes sense...
