Jason Gray, Amity, Oregon, '10 Truck Class Champion.

What will you be driving in TTCC?

"I will be driving the same truck I competed with in 2010. It is a '75 GMC pickup. It has a propane-powered 454ci engine backed by a TH400 and NP203/205 NWFab doubler. I have upgraded from 1-ton axles to Rockwell 2.5's loaded with Ouverson axles and lockers and protected by DIY4X armor. Stazworks has created some unique 20-inch double beadlocks for me. The steering is controlled by a PSC 3-inch DE ram and Grayfab hi-steer arms. Suspension is four-link front and rear with Ruff Stuff mounts and heims. Above the axles sits F-O-A 2.5-inch coilovers and 4-inch air bumps. As for tires...I'm still in the market for the right tire."

I thought that I'd be the smallest, and perhaps the only street legal rig here. I was wrong. WOW. And this guy can drive! I was there for both his win in 95, and Shannon's win in 96.

Geby Wager, '97 TTC Champion.

What will you be driving in TTCC?

"Chromoly tube-frame CJ-7, custom built in 1992. 540ci Cadillac motor, Ford T19 and 205, 1.5-ton axles with full independent joystick-controlled suspension, rear steering, Wilwood inboard four-wheel disc brakes, Premier welder, Warn winch, compressor, Auto Meter, Beard seats, 46-inch Mickey Thompsons.

I wanted to bring the same ride as last time, but my co-driver would only come if I agreed to do some upgrades, so we ended up compromising and are changing the color of the graphics. Otherwise the truck is virtually identical to last time. We are pretty excited to see how our new mods will work. Depending on the deadline, he is still trying to convince me to bring a 2009, four-door JK with the same suspension and tires and a 530hp Hemi."
