Elf On The Shelf Thread

Alright last year we started a new family tradition for my wife and myself to our children. Yes the highly odd and slightly disturbing Elf On The Shelf so last night the traditional has started once again landing in our living room.

One for each child my wife is the biggest behind this she also finds tricks for them to do during the day often multiple times a day. Tell your wife to check Google or Pinterest my wife uses that a lot.

We do it too!! Last year we had him in a build-a-bear car doing shenanigans haha had him cornered up with all eight reindeer surrounding him!! Haha she tripped out on that one.

This **** will not ever enter my house. I hate it. Feel like I'm lying to my kids over that BS. Thankfully my wife and I are in agreement about it. We've never done the Santa thing either. Funny my daughter said, about 2 yrs ago I think, I know Santa isn't real...if a stranger came in our house at night you would shoot him dad... Love that kid.

How our wives have fun playing with our kids and us men join in from time to time. CBS airs a cartoon on it, there is a DVD too, you can go to various retailers and buy a Elf, a Elf story book, or rather adopt an Elf. Yes some think it's dumb or pointless, I used to myself, but seeing your kids have to find out what the Elf or Elves did last night is fun and exciting to see their eyes light up.

Why not let them think it. It's part of childhood innocence.
