Let's see your tow rig!!!

It's spent at least 3-4 days a month at the dealership since December and they can't figure it out because the computer doesn't tell them the problem. New wheels, tires, alignments etc. 40-50 and 65+ doesn't matter if he's towing or has a load in the bed. Look online it's an issue nationwide but Ford is clueless.
 
Here is a pic of my '14 doing work a couple weeks ago on the 8+ hr trip to Hot Springs. Pulled great and got 26 mpg. :rolf: First time putting two rigs on the trailer.

I was hoping you were lying. Happy with the 18 I get pulling my jeep although I do miss getting 20-22 with my old 12valve.

Is that actually checking and doing the math at the pump, or is that what the computer says? I am just curious how you get that loaded, I don't hardly get that unloaded.

I went from 6.4 Stroker to a 5.9, the 6.4 sucks down some diesel and I had it all deleted and tuned. On the interstate it would say 22-23MPG checked it at the pump and the best I got was 17.

Ya I'm gonna go ahead and call bullshit on that one. It won't get that empty. Somebody is embellishing a whole lotta.
 
I get just 9.5-10 pulling this at 72 mph. Total weight is only about 18k.

My f350 isn't deleted and I know it will make some difference but I get 9.5 loaded heavy. Loaded light I don't see much change from empty. I can see 14-15 lightly loaded on the interstate. I see 17-18 empty interstate. 15.5 consistent around town. I checked the factory lie o meter against hand calculations and it's pretty spot on for once. My 7.3 was a lying mofo.

It was a joke. But it is a cummins so.....
It was 9.5ish on average with that load. All stock '14 w/ 35" Toyos.
 
How are the transmissions holding up in the newer Dodges? 12-16 year models. Thinking about buying a newer truck. Just wondered if they finally fixed them or if they were still junk?

About to hit 50k on mine and so far so good. The 3500s (SRW/DRW) get the better Aisin version, from what i have read. However, mine has been doing just fine. About 15k miles are with a trailer on it. Stays cool and doesnt overheat or slip. Exhaust break is on at all times, regardless of towing. If the DEF system ever shits the bed, then ill go ahead and get it deleted, along with everything else that isnt needed, but until that happens (50/50 chance that it will), Ill just leave it alone.
 
A friend of mine had a 14 Cummins and we pulled 3 buggies with it to DTOR, the transmission did great never slipped or got hot best I can remember we grossed 33,000 pounds give or take a few. We got around 9.5 MPG and ran 70 the whole time. I am 27,600 loaded and get 9MPG per hand calculations in my 5.9 with a 6 Speed, I wished it had more ass to it, when I hit a mountain it really losses a lot of speed but I cant complain for a bone stock truck. Been wanting to put a programmer on it but cant decide which one I want and don't want to burn it down.
