To bad the Portal Tek Super 14 crashed and burned......dont think its 100% dead but damn nice idea that never took off

I will be the first person to say that it held up awesome for the way I drive. I could probably drive another 2 years on it with a new R&P. Should have it back together next week.
 
14 bolt is coming along.
Big Thanks to Daniel for shaving the rear axle and narrowing it.
EOR had my hubs machined to 6 lug, get pics of those later.

Looks real good! I guess you wont lose any clearance if any at all goin from the Spidertrax to the 14

Yeah you have to take 3/16th of the ring gear. It hasn't been done yet. Should be done this week. The guy who sets all my gears up is doing it.
 
He said earlier he was going to run stock shafts. Im guessing he is running 2 stock short side axles. Same thing wyatt did.
 
I predict future breakage. Nothing is bullet proof. Looks good though, I like the shave. :dblthumb: Now get it together and go beat it like it owes you money.
 
Stock short side shafts for now if I start breaking them a lot I will upgrade to SpiderTrax or Ouverson shafts.
 
I broke a 14 bolt shaft. and my housing was not bent. Held up for over 5 years. Not bad for a junk yard axle.
