Whats the Albuqueque rig Nolen's talking about?
I agree Jay's rig is very nice, and in damn good shape. For the purchase, then $'s to ship you could still 1ton it for under 15k.

Look at it for parts, not the fugly chassis. That has a PILE of killer parts in it.

I hear ya. When I pay my bills, I don't see $ going to pay my bills. I see parts I could have bought. Cell phone bill, could of been a seat. House payment, set of longfields.

buy a used one. 15 will just be a start. the other 10 is to finish it. if you buy a running one for 18K or so, you can upgrade as the time comes/money comes and wheel it in the middle. you'll be out of wheelin for a year unless you have a money tree for the other 10-15 it needs to scratch build.

agree'd... you wont touch anything "having it built" for 15K, its just not doable unless you have all the resources and knowledge to half ass one yourself like I did. laughing1

Exactly the reason I am going to just do a Wyatt and search until I find what I want and be ready to pounce on it when it comes up.

Man guys you know I got a Money Tree right :flipoff1:
I am not dumb enough to try and build a buggy on just 15k alone. I said 15k just to see what you guys would come up with. I am dissapointed I figured you guys would have come up with better builds for that price.

When it's not our money, we can spend it REAL fast. :flipoff1:

If you narrow it down to 15K you dont have alot of options to see a build all the way through... thats all we were getting at.

Hell if you start pricing axles and axle bling plus steering worth anything at all your out 5k real quick going rebuilt junkyard tons.

Budget building comes down to how good at patiently shopping you are and what kind of deals you can swing. If your buyin all new stuff 15K would get you a bare chassis bought and a front axle laughing1

You wanting 2 seater or single ( Ill assume 2 seater ) $360 minimum in seats right there.
What tires you want to run ? up to 2K right there
Wheels ?
Engine?
Tranny?
Tcase?
What do you have in mind for front end ?
Rearend ?
Airs or Coilovers ?
What kind of ends on the links ? 3 links or 4links?

Get started on that list and lets see were your at thumb.gif
