So there I was pumping gas in Weimer, Tx yesterday, when I see a dually roll by with what looks like small bolt pattern 19.5's. I swear it!

It was a '03-07 HD crewcab 4x4 dually, no lift. Just stock with 19.5's I think.... dunno So I watch him pull into the Texas Stopsign (Dairy Queen) across the street. I holster the gas nozzle, and head to DQ with the wife thinking we are getting Blizzards.
I park next to this dually and sure as **** they are 19.5's with commercial 245/70 Michelins, and the small 8x6.5 bolt pattern. ??? No adapters, and no lift.
I walk into DQ, and approach the guy, and say "Sorry to bother, but can I ask you about your wheels?"
He turns and says "Yeah, you wouldn't be the 1st." turns out he bought them used from a guy in Houston and wasn't sure who or where they came from but thought the name was American Force. We chatted for long enough to be his turn to order and his son, saying come on dad I want so chicken fingers.

So I get home and google "American Force". Holy **** they make a 19.6 x 6.75 in the 8x6.5 bolt pattern. FawknA, I think I'm getting a dually now, errr, down the road anyway.

So you can run commercial tires on a stock small truck (1-ton) and not need an adapter to step up to the bigrig 10 bolt pattern. Commercial tires may suck for ride, but 200k from a set of tires and red-damn-diculous load carrying capacity.

It was about time someone stepped into this market and helped the get the 19.5s on stock trucks without adapters. Remember all of these trucks come factory with 16's.

Theres a Stupid Duty that sits here at work rigged out like that... looks sick as ****.

I saw one on the interstate the other day slammed as **** with a set too and that was even more sensual... I loved it thumb.gif

PS ... You cant hide money laughing

Yeah the new F-450's, and some King Ranch F-350s have Ford 19.5s on them. But those are the hub centrics. Doesn't help anyone else.

This is saving a $1200 set of adapters, then another $2500 in wheels.

Ok, just called them $2500 for a set of 4 polished aluminums, and 2 steelies (rear inners). Plus $200 shipped to my area of Texas.

Paul if you run the commercial tires you will never buy another set of tires for that vehicle. Its worth the bucks.
Oh yeah the dude in Weimer said he needed to put longer studs on his rearend, they were barely engaging the threads, but he was still running them.

yep, heath just dropped 5K on that setup, wheels, tires, dually spacers front and rear, all 6 aluminum, dually fenders and paint to match it. You can't Hide MONEY
I paid that for my bike.

Going back and hiding in the corner!

So Heaths Dodge is going to be a dually now? And he's running the 8 lug rims and not the 10 luggers?

heath signed an intent to buy on a new F450 and backed out. He has an 02 dodge (black one) and bought a silver 07 5.9 auto last winter and put a snow plow on it. its a stripped down 3/4 ton reg cab. it's getting no mods. He's putting the 8 lug 19.5's on his black dodge. Now that you mention it wyatt, awesome ass find though, his wheels are F450 wheels and the dually adapters change it to a 8x170mm hub centric. I still think I'm going 22.5.

yeah 22.5's are too big without narrowing the rearend. and if you go 22.5s the commercial tires even a lowpro commercial is still a 70 series and you are running a 35" equivalent at that point. And require a lift, which starts messing up yout towing options for trailers.
Now 22.'5s machined to 22, and running car/truck low pro tires is another story. Definately a good look, but you lose #1 the load carry capability of the rig, because those tires wont handle a load, and #2 the mileage that a commercial tire gets.

I had thought about getting a set of the Fords, and filling and redrilling, or just redrilling to the 8x6.5 pattern.

Just thoughts, I dont have a dually, but I'm plotting my next vehicle, and I want to know my options if I go the dually route. To be honest, I'll prolly drive mine another 2 years, then find an '08 Dually at that point, and buy a car/suv to commute to work in. Not being able to park in downtown or in my companies parking garage sucks major balls. My current limiter is height, a dually would be width.

And paul, I bought my Featherlite with the intent if I needed to I could pull my buggy with my wifes Tahoe. But I work with a guy that toes a 32' hightop enclosed racetrailer for his drag car with a half ton, and I think he is suicidal. Oh BTW, he lives in Decatur, AL.

go to aewheel.com they have been building them for a couple years now. let me know, i can get them for cost

225/70's on the lowboy measure in at just under 34 on the tape. I'll make recess spacers when I make my adapters. I'm still sold on 22.5's and my truck doesn't need a lift to run them. Chevys wont come close to fitting. mine...yep. just a 2" poly block in the front, on which my cost is like $88 for the pair :flipoff1:

Luke, humor me and let me know how much these would run?

Part # Size Finish Pattern Lug Type Offset BSM Cap # Load Ship Wt
0589-9695 19.5x6 Polished 8 on 6.5-GM Dually Mag 116 mm 8.055 N/I 2600 lbs. 36 lbs

I dig these cause they have the small hole, so I could draw up a pattern that included ot enlarged this hole and go have it milled out.
This place http://www.chromewheel.com/ here in Houston uses one of the machine shops I use, and that shop does all their custom cutting. Pretty cool setup.

Only downside I see is that the rim is a 6" and not a 6.5"

Won't those tires be heavy as fawk and hard on the steering, etc.? Just curious is all. There is a Dmax dually in KC rolling on 22.5's and it looked sick as fawk
