2008 Hardline Winter Ride, Wooly's & Wheelin In the Country, TN, February 15-17

I agree John, I told Brennan the same this morning. This ride was a cluster for three main reasons: we did not do enough research on the distance of Wooly's/Mayhem, we changed one of the venues, we changed the dates. Live and learn. Realize that it is hard as hell to plan a ride to a single venue, much less two in two days. I need help planning rides, this is not something that I can do on my own all the time. I hope members of the club will step up and chip in in the future so we can handle the planning as a group. Planning rides where we have never been is a crapshot, a lot of things have to happen to make it perfect. Tellico went off without a htich because we pay in advance. My vote is to handle all future rides of distance the same way. If Brennan and I go it will be for just the day on Saturday.

i guess i'm out i had to let the hotel know by 200 so i would not loose money

Do we want to just call this one off?

Or should we do a day trip to Wooleys?

From Irondale: 156 miles, 2 hours 24 minutes.

We could leave at 6AM, arrive at around 8:45am

Ride all day. Load up around 5pm.

If we drive straight 7:30pm, if we stop for dinner, at late as 9pm.

If the others are down if would be a fun Saturday day trip. That is what Brennan and I were gonna do if we went, but we don't wanna roll alone.

I will keep an eye on the boards because I would like to see/shoot the **** with everyone and a one day Sat.
ride I may can do. Ricky, can I get around in the LJ at Wooly's to watch?

Yes you can, I don't remember any spots we went to that you couldn't access in the rubi. Although I was riding in Darryl's buggy so everything looked small/easier from in there. laughing

I may be interested in riding up with someone if its a day trip.... more doable for me and my schedule ( even though I shouldnt )

Ill be watchin this as well thumb.gif

I am a passenger, so it is not my call. I know Brennan said he would be cool with a day trip, but we are not going unless the others are in

I will check with Carl. Not sure on the caravan, it would probably just take longer for everybody to meet. Gdale is on the way though.

Yea I'll ride up in the LJ, like to see the place take some pics. :drinkers:
Still p/s problems with the white toyota. (lazy)

I just got a call from Greg Cary wanting to ride this weekend somewhere. I invited him on the Saturday Wolleys run.

I think we should meet and caravan up, how about the North bound entrance ramp on I-65 at Fieldstown Road at 6AM. Only a ten minute window. We pull out at 6:10Am sharp.

I have five rigs:

Carl (Matt as bitch)
Joe
Me
Greg Cary
Dollar in street jeep :flipoff1:

Post up folks, it is almost time to load. :fish:

John are you cool for 7am? Bailey says it is 1.5 hours from Gdale. That puts us there at 8:30. Plenty of time to ride till dark and then head back.

7Am is good. I think the park opens at 8am, so earlier than that will make us wiat there.

So.

7am on the interstate ramp, pull out at 7:10am sharp!
