Front bumper / truss pic looks awesome. I imagine it plowing into the dirt and shaking off a full on bumpstop assault without even breaking a sweat. :dblthumb:

That's a nice starting point. I do dig a YJ build. Motobilt makes some nice stuff.
Yes they do. My first time really studying any of Dan's products. Definitely over built and well designed. The link subframe is a very nice piece for starting a 4 link when keeping the stock frame. For lack of a better word, it dumbs it down so you can move on and know your suspension is square and right.

Looking forward to this build as much as the last. One lucky friend :****: :dblthumb:
He may not feel lucky when the bill comes... or may not be a friend any longer... lol.

But I jest, David and I are both perfectionist, our main goal in anything we do is to build the cleanest, and most functional units we can. David has 3 dirt track race cars right now that he races weekly, along with running his full service mechanic garage with 6-8 deep bays.

He built this jeep for country star Eric Church

Sorry. Front bumper and steering cylinder cover angles on the truss flow good together in that position. Looks beefy and well put together. #motobuilt

great work as usual matt.
Thanks!

Grill location is nailed down. Slightly forward on the bottom for more radiator clearance, and to get the hood line down a bit.

Bunch off random stuff. No great direction yet. Seat is ready for fitting for the owner; in order to determine pedal placement, roof height, sight line over dash/hood.

Maybe Im just dumb. But what is this?
That's the roll cage base that bolts to the factory jeep bolts. I used motobuilt base plates, and boxed them in. I do things a little different...

The front clip is outlined and mapped out. I I have a pretty comprehensive grasp of how I will proceed the entirety of the build now. Once David drops by for some measurements and approval of a few details I have in mind, Katie bar the doors....

Obviously my tube work is very go-fast inspired, but once all the other pieces take shape, she'll be quite attractive and pleasing to the eye.

Do you happen to have a part number on that radiator? Looks like it could fit the bill for what I need.

Sorry for the delay guys. Welding up a Goatbuilt chassis at the moment for another customer, getting a '41 Chevy pu ready to go to body shop, then getting the manche ready to wheel BKORP and AOP weekend of the race. Progres to resume directly after on 3DB.
