Weird question, what size tungsten and filler rod are you using?
Not weird.

3/32, 2% lanthanated

Couple different fillers, depending on position and thickness; .035, .045, 1/16 er70s-2

Cage has been removed, fully welded , and made its way back home. Ready for the last tie on to the engine cage/ front half.

Excellent work as always. But, are you not concerned about your buddy shwacking his noggin on that x-bar behind the seat? I feel like it's perfectly placed for concussions and the like. Or maybe it's just the camera angle?

Thanks Luke!

Not in the least, especially when properly strapped in. I'm 6'4, and David is at least 6" shorter than me, and I wouldn't be concerned about my own head with these tall PRP seats, and certainly not his being lower.

And with a very similar design, (jhf/Goatbuilt chassis and PRP seat), I would be more concerned on this chassis with hitting the b- pillar. But again properly strapped in, not an issue. We should all be strapped at anytime... although I'm as guilty a anyone for not always following suit.

I gotcha. Now that I know they are tall prp's, It makes way more sense. I need a set of those.

Keep up the good work. Carry on.

Not much shop time of late.

So I knocked out a small task, with the front bumper.

Working on finishing the tube work on the front half.

And a little brainstorming on console area.

I can't believe you keep getting me to check on JEEP build threads daily. That's the equivalent of a couple dudes showing up to the house on 10 speeds and 2 minutes later I'm a Jehovah's Witness. I hated Jeeps before you started building them.

Mind if I ask where a feller gets a fancy switch and fuse panel like that? I bought a used one once, sold it in minutes, and wish I had kept it.

I'm pretty sure that's a 12VoltGuy panel. Looks just like the one I used in mine except a different style start button. They're very nice panels.
