Calm down, right now i'm going nowhere quick.

It will go quick once i actually start working:flipoff: I think you spent more time machining the trans adapter and my links than i've spent on anything for the new chassis since i started over.:haha:

I've only got one thing on my mind right now, and that's AXLES.

pick what you want and go with it...................................... just mite think about switching up to 6 lug though :flipoff:

No, i'm officially the biggest BS'er on the board:redneck:

Axles are still holding me back right now, i need some, and have been going back and forth on what i want. I decided to start with prorock centers instead of the chevy's, there superior in every way, except the price.

The prorock centers should give me more clearance than a d44, almost as much as a 609. I can run ARB's that i already have, and not worry about the reliability of the 9" lockers. That leaves what c's and knuckles to run. I'm considering dynatrac's, spidertrax, crane, or deadenbaer(sp?).

Obviously kingpins are the stongest, spiders have the most steering angle, and the dynatracs have the best shock clearance for future coilovers, but are BJ.

I've researched the crap out of it, but there's so many different opinions it's not an easy choice. For the sake of not making the wrong desicion, i haven't made one yet.

Spiders don't have more steering angle than stock 60 kingpin knuckles with a very slight grinding.

I'm building some kingpin knuckles... but and some days I still think I should ...if I was doing it again I'd just buy the spidertrax knuckles and start welding **** to them.

If you are planning on going fast you might just want to run the dynatrac stuff and not worry about steering angle to much steering angle and all the quirks that come with it will make going fast scary. Another thing is if your going to run 40" tires unless you run really wide diffs you'll be working real hard to get angles in the 40-42deg range on your chassis.

You know this.......you're over thinking it.

Do want to be an actual wheeler or just a wheeler fabricator?

Ford / Chevy

Crawling / Racing

Black / White

Boy / Girl

Meh......whatever!

You're buggy will never be "right".......just as long as you have fun with it, right?
