bad pinion bearing eating R&P?

Yeah, something for ABS or some other type of sensor. If you can tap the plug out of the old 3rd, and tap it in than you are probably good to go. If not, just find that sensor, and install it.

By the way. That used third you brought me today was fooking nasty inside. The combination of burnt gear oil, burnt gears, and mud. It was foul. I would say that they held the auditions for the 2girls1cup video inside that third member.

Glad I could help.

I was going to buy a TG "OEM" clutch setup, but now I'm skeptical of what I'd actually get. :eeek:

Try a Marlin clutch, I put a 1200 pound in mine and it engages and disengages way better than the factory one that my brother-in-law had just put in his! He's wishing he had listened to me.

As for the third, I've been following some other posts on other boards with the same third member problem from TG, one guy actually got Yukon gears, but they pinion bearing were fubar'd when he got them! And they still don't want to warranty them!

ya, gonna take it around the block (such as it is, maybe 10 miles) and get it nice and hot, then park it until the snow run.
