Is it stronger than a 14-bolt? No clue. Just throwing options out there. Coming from rockwells I can say that having a high pinion tends to be underrated by those who have never had one. I see guys dragging driveshafts over rocks and kinking them and feel like I am watching someone just bang their head against a brick wall.

I did some emailing to genright last year, and we talked about the Currie 70 he ran with a 700+hp ls7. He said he didn't have any issues with it in the rear using 250 weight oil.

I would venture to say the Currie special cut gears will have more strength than a 14b gear set. Currie makes the same gears for the 70 that match super 60 set, 5.38 and 4.88 last I looked.

They've come out with two or three more ratios since then. There's a link somewhere in that SD60 thread on Pirate.

better yet, it's turned into how building a SuperDuty 60 + 40 spline spool w/ Jana76 bearing kit + Currie HP70 gears + Rockwell size RCVs could be cheaper and better...

When we were at GMP for the Dixie run I stopped by the photo company booth. The lady had a picture of you thrashin and the pic was autographed.

I asked, "Is that THE batmobile will?" Are you sure that autograph is real? With all the hype lately, lotta peeps tryin to forge signatures to bring that paper. Lol

Good to see your vids from hot springs. Good luck on this 14bolt build. No doubt will be a fun ride. Hope you and fam are well.

I do have to give it to ya. You were driving the wheels off the car! For a second I thought someone was chasing you .. Hahah. Kiddin. Was gonna comment on Coles video and tell you good job... Then I read the coments. Anyhoooo this is a good thread about 14 bolts. Just when I think I get it .. BOOM I realize I'm confused as **** .. My buddy works for a place that has every tool imagine and the guys will do the work. They're the same ones that turn down my H1 wheels. But I still get so dam comfused.. Hell what's new. Carry on I'll listen.
