Looks killer :****:
but why didn't you do a divorced transfer case so you could have kept the engine up and out of the water :dunno:
Needing some radiator protection too ;D but I'm shure that is still to come :dblthumb:

I thought you said this was a picture of the new BTF buggy? All I see is :cougar: :cougar: :cougar: :dblthumb:

Everyone loved the FireTruck at the expo. The best were the kids that just stared at it in awe. :dblthumb: Best part was other than the big blue camel tent, it was one of the tallest things in the show, you could see the lights on the top from the opposite corner of the exhibition hall.

Just sayin...

Just now read this! I haven't thought about a calendar. You mean like each month a BTF rig and girl? Could make millions! laughing1

Update!

Exhaust is finished, all done in house by Jey. (not fully assembled in photo)

Rear fold-up step to access the equipment. It could also double as a hand-rail/grab handle when working from the platform. The poly bushings will be replaced with custom hard plastic bushings to reduce deflection when you use the step.

The custom-made tool boxes finally arrived and are being installed.

Chassis is back from powdercoat! It looks great, should be going back together soon!

Assembly is underway. All the little things like wiring is taking a ton of time. We have to be smart about it because everything has to be well protected from the environment this rig will see.

This thing will need to carry a lot of gear and since the "bed" area will be filled by the water tank and fire equipment tool boxes and storage racks were the solution. We had these boxes custom made for this project, and we added the top rack ourselves.

Roof and toolbox racks pictured here:

The total width with the toolboxes installed is 84". The chassis itself is 85" tall from bottom of the belly to top of the roof rack.
