So the trucky is getting a makeover... inside and out...There are a few things that will get done after the Naches Trip, but most of it has to be done by early/mid june:mad:

To Do List BEFORE Naches:

-Build HP Dana 44, cut down to desired length, trying to figure out what STOCK axle to use on the long side....and make it not too wide...
-
-Install 5.13s front and rear, plus replace rear wheel bearing and seals.
-Setup steering a little more proper...
-Assemble Dual case setup; Chevy NP203/Ford NP205 with NWF doubler.
-Build Custom Crossmember(s) for the dual cases and possible an extension forward to cover the trans. pan for a belly skid:cool:
-Build new D-lines, both SINGLE piece YOKED d-lines:haha: no more two-piece rear and CVed front shafts...
-Install blue top optima and new main battery wires.
-If i get time, I will attach my new fangdangle winch pulling aparatus.:awesomework:
-replace worn rubber fuel lines.

To Do List if i get extra time before Naches(will do it after i get back regardless):

-Build cage (internal:fawkdancesmiley: ); Attach seats, button down speaker box.
-Build rear tube bumper
-Build Front Tube bumper w/ stinger
-Figure out rocker slider things...
-Rewire switches, Air compressor, etc.
-Dual Battery setup. (one more blue top)
-Mount winching aparatus:cheer:

Pics to come!!!

Location of winch, just on top of the crossmember, London Gentlemen suggested (for now) of just notching the current bumper to fit the winch in, until a permanent bumper can be build, that way i have it for naches.:awesomework:

Uber bad steering geometry::rolleyes: I think i might be hacking out that crossmember piece and running a different piece in there...

I have an idea to cut just below the seam in the back and running tube along it and using a piece of 2x6 as the new rear bumper with a reciever build in and POSSIBLY bobbing the bed....prolly not though:redneck:

nothing but the best tools to get the job done right:awesomework:

Ya, it just might be a while(two weeks...:looser: ) before i get a chance to get out there. If you are getting rid of the truck soon or something let me know and i will get my butt out there and pull it after work some night:cool:

no rush, in fact im glad it was still there. my neighbor decided to sell his duplex across the street and asked me to move it from in front of his place to help it sell:redneck: :redneck: :redneck:

-Cut the axle on the long side a total of 2 1/2" to put a stock 80s waggy long side in... just need to retrieve one and test fit it before the final weld..."CRUSTY!!!":hi:

-The C tube came out a lot easier than i thought. Only took an hour total:redneck:

-Got the dana 30 out from under the s-10
-Drooled over my doubler
-Awaiting more parts...
:corn:

hey dillhole. got a bare drivers drop waggy housing that you can copy.

You gonna have this hack job done? :awesomework: Month and a half buddy!:cheer:

Needn't you worry my son... It will be done....It WILL be done....maybe...

I have to get my rebuilt kit for the NP203 here, get the front dig methodology done... I am really waiting on the 203 kit now, then i can throw that up under the truck. Finish up the front axle. Gonna order up the 5.13s tonight and some other goodies to fancy up the front end and rear end. Should set me back:haha:

Thanks Douche!:hi: I don't think i need the housing though, I just need the inner long side axle, to test or buy, I think "Zip" on here has one that i am going to pick up from him. I still might need to take a slight bit more out of the axle tube to shorten it up enough. But i want to make sure i have the axle to test it first.

The dual cases are coming! the dual cases are coming!!!

Started working on the dual cases and i must say they be blinging!!!

Monday I am getting a big shipment of parts to finish up (hopefully) the front dana 44. then I can set it back on wheels, then install the dual cases, then order up me some drivelines!!!:cheer: Me thinks Naches is well in site:awesomework:

So, this thing has been neglected...

I have gotten the transmission crossmember almost finished up, the steering arms have been put on, the rear 1350 yoke has been put on and torqued, along with new wheel bearings and seals and 5.13 gears...

I need to put on the new 1350 yoke on the front along with a new pinion seal and add oil and that will be almost finished up.

The steering geometry is WAY better than before I really like it. I think i'll be able to turn within ONE football field now instead of four:rolleyes: :haha:

Driveline materials are all here 'cept the tube. The dual cases are ready to go in upon finishing the first crossmember and figuring out a second crossmember, then drivelines, then exhaust revamping....
