when you install the trans, try to be sure to install a NEW clean oil cooler that is separate and not connected in any way to your existing radiator.
Why, you ask? well, this way, you can say that you had adequate cooling on the trans should the convertor clutch lining fail. by the way, when this happens, it plugs the cooler, and the overdrive clutches overheat because they are the first part of the trans to get cool fluid from the cooler... if its cooling. Most dodge owners dont realize that when they lose OD, its only a matter of time before they lose the rest of the trans... like 15- 20 minutes.
Perhaps you got lucky and they did the upgrades to the lube circuit inside the trans. this will REALLY help keep your trans alive longer. takes about 15 minutes total. and while they were in there, they SHOULD have *(in good conscience) upgraded at least one of the drums to hold an extra clutch by changing out pressure plates. only takes a second, and doing so will ensure more happy customers. doesnt cost much either.
Hope you got a good one.
A buddy of mine builds em. Another buddy of mine just had his gone through to the tune of 1800 bucks, (edit: I think). half ton dodge, now capable of towing 17000 lbs, and its got the firmest shifts i have seen in a 46re.
Hope it works for you.
