do i know how to drive lets see duh well what happened is i go over a tree it rolls over and branch gets shoved into inner fender pins my truck up and to get it off we couldnt get to the tree to cut it so we end up getting at what we can and then yanking the truck off.............this was the first wheelin shake down the braks and steering had already been tested out

ive got a narrowed front clip it just wouldnt be very pcoket friendly (fawkin ticketin bastereds) i just picked up a blazer with a 4spd so ill be buildin that for hardcore wheeler i think
 
Dude that sux i'm sorry but i go with the narrow and tube idea thats what im doing to mine in 2 weeks i'mm so pumped!!! But i was gonna ask u if u mite be interested in around may getting a wheeling trip for around yakima set up me and a few buddies are staying at my families place up there for a week in may for wheeling and fishing and camping and what not
 
well i ended up goin out again today pushin mud with bumper and up to my lights then only rear tires are spinnin........exploded front end and the truck is sunk DEEP! so call a truck a big bigger than mine to come yank me out...........gets driven to his house which is only a little trip down the road with
1. exploded font end
2. bent frame
3. busted flat bed
4. rip out brake line for no brakes
5. busted 60 pinion gear (ford that came to "resque")
6. busted hub(also the ford)
7. rocks and mud flying and grinding away inside drum brakes and wheels/calipers

all in all shitty day so its time to switch over to the new rig........1980 blazer with a 4 spd no motor (gunna have narrowed front and rear)
 
no way in hell am i puttin money into a 10 bolt or a dana44 way to weak for a fullsize with a decent size tsl..........lookin for a 60 because i got the 14 bolt already
 
if i had the money id just go mogs. 1750 for both mogs built already, compared to a grand for a 60 and another 500-1000 to build it up. 1500-2000 just for the front axle.
 
i did have rockwells and now i know why people stick with 60's and other bolt in axels.....if i get something that has links ill go to rocks again but untill i can push everything out farther stock style axels for me:D
 
theres a guy with some local i dunno his number just know the place......mogs seem to be wheres its at but they are spendy (i got my rocks for 800)
 
well pulled apart t-case and tranny and i got myself a 32 spline sm465 which is good and bad good becuase its strong bad becuase i need a 32 spline 205 which ive been searching for for quite some time
 
just picked up new parts for the pile of ****
88 3+3 4 spd 205 dana 60 front gov bomb rear 4.56's
swapping in axles tranny and t-case
