Elbe - "Busywild" looking for others that want to wheel on a Sunday

Damn it I want to wheel...........

if it gets to the point of dragging my ass right off the bat... I'll turn around & run Gotcha or something else... I just like a Challenge. this is going to be a challenge. if others are in a big hurry - maybe they should all line up & head out 1st. I'd much rather do the trail w/ someone who's not in a hurry and is willing to play tug / bump if nessasary... i'am in no hurry...

i'm there to enjoy the fact that i get to wheel, if it's that bad on the way up... or thru Mainline to get to Busy.... i'll just keep going along Mainline and hit the other trails w/ someone else or not...

I want to wheel, theres places there to wheel besides Busywild, but it'l be nice to do it. shouldn't be that bad.... ----> :D :corn:

anyone else up for that plan, or coming in rig's that are more challenged, on 33's or smaller - open diff's?

last thing i want is for someone to chain gang my ass thru the WHOLE trail.

but i'm going............ if it's all the same to anyone.:;

Well a lot of people showed up.. Binder and I ran busy wild , had to go over a few trees 3' or so off the ground.. coulda used a chainsaw.. The others chose to go on some less agressive trails. We flew through in about 3 hours with a couple pee breaks. breakin new trail always fun with fresh snow .. No sign of the others when we left...

Fun trip,.........

Can anyone give me a report on conditions? Are we in need of a work party out there to clear some trees? How much blow down is there?

How were the general conditions?

We hit mainline & gotcha and most of the trees were cut. Had a good time.

did the Tj make it home or someplace?

had alot of fun....... we waited for binder & Rock & a few others...

Binder high tailed it for Busy..... we followed behind the crew of Cj's & EB's.
took us 3 hours to get to Busy, because every 5 mins one of them would break down...... once we made it to busy, we bailed from them, headed up the rd. to the end of Gotcha & ran that towards mainline / camp.

had a very goodtime, perfect click of 3 rigs that did fine.

until Gotcha got the Tj... ripped off the valve stem, threw on a spare. back on trail......

---------------------------------------

as far as trail WORK PARTY - YES Gibby, the trails need a little attention, the sooner the better... as most will try to drive around the fallen trails & make go arounds, other than that.... everything seemed clean, except for the fallen trees... no garbage on the trails / or damage to the campground / gate.

------------------- just trees........ lot's of trees...... service rd. 9 is blocked at the top. had to take trail to get to Gotcha.

few pic's here on Joop's site....

Was a fun day of weeling. Troy and I had a good time and met a couple new people. I didn't know anyone was trying to follow. I thought you guys were running a different trail?..............Busy wild. Not too busy and not too wild but a fun little trail none the less. The snow/ slush on the ground along with all the downed trees kept it interesting. Chainsaw is needed up there. The average rig would not get through that trail right now winch or not.:D

Pics, oh I forgot the EBPs are always too busy wheelin to take pics.:D

just a sugestion but if you guys are going to be winter trail wheeling, especially after the windy weather we have been having, it might be a good idea to carry a chainsaw or at least a bow saw. that way, since your already there, you could clear the trail of obstructions instead of just sending messages that the work needs to be done. a lot of "go rounds" can be created in the short time it takes to get a crew up there. JMO thanks
