Any pic's of the log crawl you guys made? I never got a chance to see it as I found Ed the Pres of dogpound offroad walking through the woods from the swamp and picked him up and gave him a ride back to camp for a spare tire. We were almost there but I wanted to help him out....it would have been a long walk.....I was playing on the one fun hole in the Gotcha. How much further is it from the bridge :redneck:

Money.

However, we just firmed up getting some of them on the trail the weekend of May 8th and 9th. We'll see how far we get. We're having to do this without additional DNR funding at this point.

Gibby how r u all going to git the rocks up the hill? Equpment

Slowly. I have a loader but we don't yet have a way to get it there. The guy who said he could do that, has a dead cell number now. I know that the company he was working for was in trouble.

We have one excavator so far that will be up an running. They'll have to be leap frogged up the hill. If we can get a second one in time, we can work on the main hill climb. If not, we'll work on just the upper section near the rock pit. That whole section can be made pretty nasty because it's short, you can easily go around the entire section without messing with someone's wheeling experience. Most people don't even know that little section of the trail exists because it wasn't noted properly on the most current map.

We already have rocks staged at each end of that short section of trail.

We could still use a smaller excavator to help with trail prep while the bigger rocks are being moved up into place.
