Any pic's of the log crawl you guys made?
The wife N i went up their to day. To get some measurements for some thing WTF is doing for Nancy. The wife got some pics i will post them later. The log crawl is fun and will get better in time. Its basicly like the frame twister on TTC. But not full of water N mud yet
Sounds like it will be fun.
We built one like that out at Cranberry Lake several years ago. Not quite as big as TTC. The hardest part was keeping the logs stationary. We bend long pieces of rebar into a "U" and pounded them in, but a couple of still didn't hold.
If the mini-excavator is still in the cooler, maybe we could dig some holes and figure out how to drag them down the trail and drop the in...
If Anthony can be there to run it, I'm sure we can get enough of the WOW, WTF and Faith Wheelers people to bust it out...

With the Busy being the Busy, the WTF guys building the log pile on the Gotcha and the Alder getting better and better, we could make Elbe a lot more well rounded with some Tahuya type rock climbs...:awesomework:

I can run the mini so can dane. im free. i can talk to a buddy about some equpment. if you need my help. if not have fun.
Finding a mini would be a huge help. It can't do the big boulders but it can do site prep.
I'm also working on building a rock sled. A mini would be able to help load and unload the sled that I'm working on.

If you give me a heads up i can always get a mini to use and i'm sure that i can get a bigger cat 312 w/ a thumb from my boss too as long as we pay for it to get hauled up there.
How much to haul it up and back?
The work is planned for May 8th and 9th.
A mini on that same weekend would still be very helpful.
I left Nancy a message to call me back, maybe the Tahuya mini will still be available to use. I was thinking about buying a trailer like this, maybe we could winch the big rocks on it one at a time and haul them onto the trail, my truck has a pintle hitch and 15,000 lb winch on the back

i would have to talk to the guy that normally hauls all of our equipment for us he is my bosses good friend so i'm sure he would do it for a pretty good price or if anyone on here knows someone that has a tilt deck to go behind a dump truck i'm sure i could round up a dump truck for real cheap.
