That was The Dairy Hut

So far no damage here on the mountain but some nice lighting I watched for an hour on the front porch. Hope everyone is safe tonight!

Damn, this sucks, which one of the gas stations burnt a couple of years ago, the same one?

That place made a damn fine pineapple malt. I guess anyone heading up there to ride better take along a BFCS.

This storm is packing a punch for sure. Glad to here my friends and family are safe so far. It's about to hit. Here soon.

Storm hit Morris Police Station and Kimberly area too. We had two tornados go north and just south of me. Say your prayers tonight.

touch down about a mile from my home in Berlin. It got pretty rough and power is out but my family and i are good and damage free as of now.
God bless

Re:

Possible tornado below Albertville/Boaz heading up Hwy 75 which is straight toward my house. It's about 45-50 minutes away now and they are unsure if it is going to weaken or back-build. Monitoring closely. If it gets worse, my family and I are going down to the church near my family's house for shelter. They have a huge storm safe basement, had to go there many times before.

Re: Re: everyone ok? storm thread

1st tornado went slightly south of us, 2nd storm weakened by the time it got to us. Sounds like it got rough pretty close to us tho! My power just came on a little bit ago and woke me up. I had a candle lit beer and tuna sammiches last night! Haha

Friend of mine took some badass pics of lightning. This was around 1am, looks like broad daylight!

I went through Clements right after the tornado hit and wiped out a trailer park , I got out to look for survivors and saw two people dead in a trailer that was upside down in a tree, the other tornado went by about a mile from me while I was searching for people

Re:

I don't understand why ppl stay in trailers during this ****. When the April 2011 tornados came through, it hit a bunch of trailers semi close to where I live and while I was trying to get home from work (took me 3 hours to make what's usually a 15 minute drive) I was stopped trying to figure out how to get around a big ass tree in the road, and saw several dead ppl right there where it hit the trailers. It was horrific looking at all the raw surroundings right after the tornado pummeled through, leaving dead folks mangled up in debris 20 yds from where I was standing.

Better safe than sorry, lose sleep and find shelter...it's most certainly worth it without a doubt.

They had two storm shelters around the trailer park , I don't know why they just choose not to go 100 ft to the shelter.
