we still need to do the front driveline, wire the locker, and install the sliders. 2 weeks from now we are going to install the winch. i lost one of my super expensinve lug nuts last night or this morning, i must have missed it when i torqued the lugs.

btw, shane, if your info about the ride height is right, this 3-4" lift is actually a 7 inch lift. from the top of the rim to the fender lip is about 20".

That's just eery... damned copycat. :flipoff:

It is right, and those one-size-fits-all springs start out taaaalllllll. Don't forget additional height from your spring hangers and shackles being longer than "stock". You probably got 1-2" of your lift just in those. Now git-r-done and go wheel the piss out of it. :clappy:

Dont forget to stop and let it cool for a while every now and then, I hear ideally you want it to cool completely, but when I did mine, I just let it cool for a while (30-45 mins) while I had some food etc, then took off again. Same thing when I stopped for gas, just took my time, checked tire pressures, oil, washed the windows, shopped for snacks, etc.

Way to go man that thing is sweet. I'm so pumped to be goin wheeling again!!!
I just scored a 454 and turbo400 for free so i think the jeep is getting some work done to it. Also i ordered my rear spool for the ford should have it wednesday

got the sliders mounted, front locker wired and functional, and hopefully next weekend we will have the winch installed.
