Can I bring all of my parts over along with my chassis and drop it in the driveway so you can do some welding for me? :flipoff1:

Nothing major, just like you were looking over a rig but a house instead. Look for anything that is off or out of alignment. Pay extra attention to cracks in floors or walls, this means the foundation may not be level or is moving around. Make sure it does not have mold, that is a huge headache to deal with. Just make sure it is all like it should be. Make sure stuff that turns on (lights, fans, etc) actually do

Look for paint to make sure it looks applied well, make sure they cleaned up well especially around windows and under counters where there is plumbingl, make sure interior doors are hung good and do not have play in them when closed, check cabinet hardware to make sure it is all done, check outside for proper drainage... I am sure I can think of a few more things.

HTH am i gonna know if there is mold ?? Like smell around for it or what ? Serious Im not sure.

I hate houses and carpentry and all that ****... laughing1 I dont even like lawn work :flipoff1:

( good stuff Joel, thanks thumb.gif )

You will see mold dumbass, it be visible if it is there. Lots of times in basements and what not. Make sure all the doors open and close well and the locks work. We just had the builder come back and adjust all of ours because they were all sucking ass.

open windows/doors to make sure they are not binding. Ceiling fans on high to see if they wobble like mad, downspouts are extended away from the house or have those plastic/concrete extensions

It's really a crap shoot anymore. Do you know this builders reputation? That is a huge deal there IMO. Lots of fly by night people anymore, let alone people in serious financial trouble.

Depends. Some mold is in the walls. Usually applies to older homes though. Mold won't be present in a new home MOST of the time.

This is a new house iirc?? I would not be as concerned about the mold nor cracks in concrete, concrete will get cracks in it as it settles. Yeah, go through and turn on all the lights, turn on the A/C and you will probably want them to adjust the vents. Being a new house and having to be inspected through the phases the construction should be okay. It is the detail things to check like I mentioned above. Oh, turn on the faucets hot and cold in each room. I actually had a faucet running rusty water that I caught and it was due to using the wrong kind of pipe for it. Flush the toilets to make sure they are not stopped up, you would not believe what they will put in them during constructions. I have heard of wads of plaster in them and **** like that.
