Fun!!!!

Well i took my heep to the car wash today (not the ones you drive through) and used there engine degreaser and got all the crap off my undercarriage so that i could pull my tranny this weekend. Well i got home and was bored so i figure i would get started early. I also wanted to check my brakes and make sure everything was all good.

Well after getting all four wheels/tires off (useing manual labor due to my lack of the right size impact socket) i procede to pull my drums off (im lame i dont have nifity discs like the rest of ya) and what i found was truly scary! Almost all my shoes were worn down to the metal YIPES how i could even stop i dont know. Well on thursday i think im taking my Drums to be machined (Anyone know the best place to take them that is about 15 minutes north of dowtown Seattle?) and buy some shoes. I dont know how well these pics will show how bad they really are but here ya go. More to come soon and some probably from the tranny work this weekend hopefully. While you have it torn down should convert front to discs. Get the parts from a junkyard, it will stop way better. P.S. they are shoes not pads

Ooops my bad hahaha fixed it

I dont really have very much money right now (looks in wallet) about 60 bucks so i dont know if i can do it right now maybe this winter though

You can get your drums done at Action in Shorline and probably get some shoes too, its on the Aurora, on the east side around 160th. If we had a decent lathe at work I'd take care of it for you but ours sucks.

I'm acctually about to go take them to the Napa auto parts by my house just off of 212th in Mountlake Terrace.

Well today i went to Napa and dropped off my drums, and they are suppose to be finished by tomorow around 10-11 a.m. and i went to get my shoes for the front and the rear and at the Napa by my house they only had the fronts in stock but they will be there tomorow so i will be picking everything up tomorow around 4 ish and hopefully get started right away on putting it all on

O and i got my gasket kit for my tranny today too

Well Today was a fairly progressive day! Me and a buddy got all my brakes back together, and we started to prepare to drop the tranny. We then relized both of us were super tired and went swimming though so the tranny is still in but the brakes are basically done, still in need of adjustment but i have a mechanic friend coming to help with that and to make sure i did everything alright.
