Alright so i finally got around to do some work on the heep again and i thought i would update ya'll.

First off the brakes are almost complete im just waiting on a brake cylinder i ordered. I pulled my clutch the other day and im ordering a new one on monday cause it was completely shot down to the metal. I have my transmision apart i just need to install the rebuild kit i bought. O and i started another project my senior project for school that is and its doing a full performance rebuild on a chevy 350 i had sitting out back. So now i have a bunch of pictures to go along with this and more to follow cause im crackin down on getting this thing done.

It shall be a sweet project!

Im not sure what im going to put it in yet, maybe nothing i might sell it.

I want to put it in a ford escort and make the ultimate sleeper car but im not sure yet

Alright so i havent updated this in a while so here we go.

Today i got the tranny basically all back together except the little syncro plates are confusing me a bit so somthing isnt fitting quite right, Any tips would be greatly apprciated on that!

I got my brake cylinder i ordered finally, put it on and now i think im going to replace all the springs in my brakes just to be on the safe side. Then i am going to order some speed bleeders from summit racing to bleed my brakes.

So im thinking this weekend will be D-Day to get the tranny back in the rig finally seems how i have thursday and Friday off of school i thought it would be a good time to do it.

Anyway i will have pics later my mom is out of town with the camera right now but will be back tomorow so maybe late tomorow night or early wednesday

Alrighty so i got the tranny all back together and mated it back up with the transfer case today!

Now i need to go buy a new cotter pin for the end bolt here (should get that tomorow)

Then put the cover over the end bolt using RTV sealant and a paper gasket just for the heck of it

Here is the new brake cylinder i put on! All nice and shiny newness, need to get some speed bleeders now from summit racing

I bought this clutch yesterday

And installed it today!

O and here is the new welder and plasma cutter i bought a couple weeks ago:flipoff: and the sweet cart i made for them to go on!

That is all for now updates soon, cause the tranny is scheduled to go back in this weekend!

nope its sitting on the messy garage floor, i think it will go in after this winters wheeling along with a new motor tranny and transfer case, i need to get some shafts made up for it as well

this thread will get an update in the next two weeks as well because im picking up a new transfer case from Hip next week hopefully!:cheer:

If I remember right I was going to have both passenger sides you got resplined so they didn't have that big neck in them. Let's see some wheelin pics:corn:

Is it hard to convert those old axles to disc??

i'll get the recipe posted soon, i know you use chevy half ton calipers
& mounting brkts and cj rotors
