no, and might not be gettin one, but it might be gettin acab chop, tubs in the back, and fabbed front fenderwells. maybe 3" for 34's :cool:

Needs new gaskets all around :D its a stick so if it continues to leak it will contaminate my clutch too soooo it needs to come out:cool:
 
Finally got around to pulling the tranny outa the heep the other day:clappy: :clappy:

Only took about 30 minutes so i dont know why i had put it off so long:mad:

Anyway its out now and i need to go and clean it all up then replace all the seals then back in it goes!

I Also have to clean all the oil up underneath the jeep too so i will throw the wheels back on and roll it outside and clean it all up

Only one thing broke in the removal! Its somthing for the master cyclinder for the brakes should be a simple fix though

I couldnt tell ya, i know the last guy had no clue what he was doing and he told me he hadnt really ever done any work to it but perhaps the owner before that but no guarantee's

I have to replace the clutch anyway though, cause of the oil that has leaked onto it:mad:

Umm i cleaned the 400 layers of grease off the Tranny the other day thats about it :mad:

I need to get crackin on this, im suppose to take it 4 wheelin with a buddy with an army pickup in a week and a half so ya i will be updating more soon

When you take the clutch off inspect the flywheel. If the clutch was slipping real bad for a while you could have scoured the flywheel pretty bad. I know you don't want to spend more money but it may be a good idea to have your local machine shop resurface your flywheel. just a thought...

It looks a little late. But try to always get the bonded (Glued) brake shoes not the rivited on, as dirt will collect in the rivet holes and not allow the brakes to work as well, also it will groove out the drums where the dirt gets stuck.

Looks like you had one set though

I didnt really have a choice:mad:

They only offered one type of pads for a 1975 CJ-5 axle soooo im stuck with what i got o well its not that big of a deal, my old ones were also riveted and my drums werent grooved at all really but thanks for the tip i will try and get ahold of some glued next time if i can
