Van Epps and Gallagher Head are excellant trails for stock rigs. Unless there is snow the trails offer no challenge. There are great camping spots and views. The area does see frequent Forest Service patrols and is being closely watched by the WTA. The WTA has dreams of turning the area into Non-motorized and is working the system to do just that.
