Getting a late start (AC's XRRA Build)

Maybe we can crank sometime early next week. The rear shocks are a new type short travel, less movement, easy to come by,cheap to aquire, low budget, all steel security shock. This will be the first test run ever made on them.NASA has contacted us and wants to try a larger verson on the little cart that carries the Space Shuttle. They will be on the market in the summer of 2015.Better get your orders in quick.Or I can put this set on you quick for a buck two ninty five.Later

Is the exhaust as close to the ear as it looks.

Yep,I misread the blueprints just a little. Its pretty close. We'll have the lexan and some heat tape and heat sheilding. The muffler we used was 18" long and pushed the pipes a little close. You have to remember most runs last about a min and a half.Going out to crunk it up,latter

Well it spun over about one turn and CRUNKED right off.Everything was good with one small leak in the steering. We'll have that cured tomorrow.Just a few things left and its test drive time. The exhaust sounds good, its amazing what a 5.3 sounds like with no rev-limiter.

Awesome Congrats!!

Why no rev limiter????

What was the timeframe, 4-6 weeks. Damn for two people part time that rivals CE. Seriously that is impressive. I have been around Adam a good bit and you can tell he loves the sport. I also get the feeling that when he decides to do something he does not stop until it is finished, as obvious by this crazy fast build. Really sharp rig guys.
