HAR - Hardline Forum Ride - October 10-12, 2014

Heres the rest of em!!!,,,this computers bout to start smokin tonight......

Thats all folks!!!

And yes I say we go ahead and plan this event for the same weekend next year and every year after as well ;D

You took some great pics Scott good job, all these pics and vids that are on here now should give those that have not been to the park a easy feeling about traveling to this park

Re:

I am down for one to two weeks earlier :) or the same week if need be. Rental driven by Owner and I can beat on my own junk. And hell, I'll bring the Jeep to drive too.

My buggy was down or I'd been there. Definitely making it next year. I would like to see it a week or two earlier as well. Like going to Fall Crawl with all my buddies but it'd be hard to do on back to back weekends. But either way Im in! :dblthumb:

For all the harlan virgins, aside from the weather what were your thoughts on the trails? How do they compare to what your accustomed to? I've made a dozen or so trips to harlan and gmp respectively. But nothing west or south of sparta. I would like to get to you alls neck of the woods soon.

I have a group of 10 or so buggies/ton jeeps going to harlan weekend of Nov 15 if anyone wanted to tag along. All veterans of the black mountain.

I will put this ride on my schedule next year, would be great to put names/faces with this computer screen.

Re:

The one thing I noticed, is the distance between trails. You can ride for half a day and see just a handful of other folks. Trails were clearly marked, access to all major obstacles were doable by near stock vehicles, facilities were adequate. I can't think of anything else I could have wanted from a park. Oh, wait. Cell service for everyone else. My Appalachian wireless worked great.

THANKS yall!

And we need to make it for the same weekend because it was SUPPOSED to have been the peak of the fall color last weekend but because of this neverending summer we had this year it was a lil late.

I,ve been hittin Harlan for 7 years now and it has all of the stuff I like to wheel it just has a LOT of it is the great part :dblthumb:

mcutler you would enjoy CHOCCOLLOCCO,,,MORRIS MOUNTAIN,,,HAWK PRIDE hell all the parks down here :dblthumb:

Awesome pics guys!! :dblthumb: I wanted to make this ride so bad, but didn't think it would be a good idea having a one-month-old at home. Instead, I tortured myself by checking this thread daily for the last 3 weeks! I will definitely be planning to be there nxt yr if this ride happens again. I've been to Harlan twice but it's been about 4 years. Once on quads & once in a stock sami on 29's. Finally have a capable enough rig to do some of the challenging trails so I cant wait to get back. It's an awesome place with some killer views no matter what you're riding tho!

Was not bent it broke the shaft, they removed it and went on through then took a rear one off and put on front then added a log in the back to keep it level, great bunch of guys
