Keep plugging away. we're all watching and waiting for it to roll out of the shop. I always got frustrated on my build threads when I would post an update and no one responds. It feels like all the work it takes isn't appreciated by the viewers so you quit posting. def keep the updates coming here. we're waiting with bated breath.

thanks man . i would like to post more but time is not on my side. i try to work on the buggy 2 to 3 hours a day if i can sometimes we are to busy and i can't but the main reason it is taking so long is because i have never built anything before and trying to commit to an idea is sometimes hard for me i am not sure if its going to work right.like the bump stops i have been putting it off for a month but it now or never because thats the last thing maybe the are right. i have just tacked it in-case it not i am going to let Paul look at it before i tear it down. and working by your self sucks!!!!!!!!! i will try to post Pict's tomorrow if they look bad tell me before i paint it you won't hurt my feelings just give ideas

Sheep is right...keep on posting! this is a build up most of us cant wait to see finished....your first buggy (I assume) and P's first chassis..........plus it has the little motor in there......... :spin:
lets see those pics!

Don't take this in any shape or form as critical cause I'm one of the dummies that don't know enough to tell you anything but IF it were mine I'd do something different on those rear bumps......I don't know exactly what but I just wouldn't want them that prominent on the back of the buggy. I'll hush and continue lusting now!

how much coilover shaft is showing in the rear pic? I don't know why the south guys mount their bumps both in the center instead of one at each side? I'd weld those fronts up, they look good. the rears just kind of seem redundant and you can still bottom a coil over easily if you land crooked. personally I'd move the out as close to the c/o as you can get without the can being in the way of travel.

Front looks sweet, rear might work also but they seem to be a litle to exposed. I think he has enough coilover shaft to be ok, but they seem primed to take some abuse in that local

i am not crazy about the rear but i think if i move then out the lower pad will be tall and look bad. i flexed it out and the center of the Axel does not move much. i do not think that the rear coils will bottom out when flexed. i think the only time that i will need the bumps is when i jump it like Matt did his so i measured the distance between the upper links and the chassis and that is were i mounted them just before they make contact but feel free to give input hell show me some Pict's of some others mounted

na, I was looking at it like I thought that the rear bumps would bottom before the coil over used very much travel. Now, if you land with one tire stuffed and one drooping, it will bottom the co on that side because the droop tire let it bypass the bumps. have some cool ass part cnc'd out to make bump pads out of or something.

WELL DONE on the front Joe... I like that alot man. The rear could use some work though. I think we need to get them outside the axle truss personally but I am only web wheeling . When you working on it again , any night this week ?

(Tuesday wont work for me.... )

whatever night is good for you that is all i have to do the rest is ready to tear down so the sooner the better i will leave it together until you come. what other options do i have as far as bumps do they make something that hooks on the coilover .i just think if the are moved out they will look bad so maybe i could use rubber bumps under the chassis between the upper link and the chassis that would keep it clean looking out back.

alright whatever i need to finish will be done this week because the soda blaster will be here next tuesday and that means the chassis will be painted next tuesday night. maybe paul can come and look it over tonight or tomorrow so i can tear it down and weld it up before next tuesday
