Hard to tell in the pics, how did it lay down ? You happy with the paint ?

Silver was going to be alot more of a process ( 2 stage paint ) and after talking about it we kinda felt like the black would alot easier touch up and so forth wise.

(quicker cheaper in the long run scenario )

it turned out ok the paint i used was drying to fast so there is some dry spots but everything that shows when it together look good. after the first rollover you will never know it. if i ever do another one it will be rattle caned painting that much tube sucks that is four and a half hours of continous spraying not even enough time to have a beer

i finished painting the links today i will try to finish welding on the axels and paint them tomorow then it's on.i will try to start assembly on monday but i do not think i will get much done till we get back from tellico the following week but i am still trying to have it done by ricky b'day in november

hell yes, I wanna see this thing out there. then again, I start a major build after my wedding (oct 22) and If I ruin my rig at my bach party, I might be doing a hurry up job to bang it out so it can go.

went in this morning and put the axels back under it. hopefuly i can put the engine,trans,transfercase in tomorow

Did you get sweet pea to sand all your links and everything ? Is that stuff already painted ? Lets see some pics of it going back together too man, dont hold out on us ;D

Yeah he painted the links red, they look good. I say the painted dash panel and it is slick. I still think the silver chassis would of been tits with that blue he picked out, but black is OK also.

Yeah he wanted some red to match the CO springs, they look good hanging on the wall.

sorry you do not like red maybe i should have painted them pink. i did not want them black because everythink under the bottom is black and that was to much i will post some picts

well now i am fired up the trip helped out alot i went in this morning installed the transfer case,transmission,motor,throttle cable,battery,and painted the underside of the floor panels i am going to install the floor panels and spray them with spray bed liner and start the wiring oh and i hooked up the shifters cables for the atlas :flipoff1:
