Hardline Crawlers @ WindRock, November 8-10

Hey guys, TK and Carl are out. So we have 4 rigs going as of now:

John & Nan
Matt O
Rich & Ricky
Dollar

I cancelled our second apt at the barn out of courtsey to the owner so she can still try and rent it out.

Here is the info on the Apt at the Barn I was thinking would work:
Apt #1
Bedroom #1 - 1 Double Bed
Bedroom #2 - 2 Twin Beds
Bedroom #3 - 1 Twin Bed

Couch in the living room and room for a blow up mattress or bed here.

Price is $150 night including tax. So if all 6 of us stayed here it would be stupid cheap at $75/person. John & Nan can take Bedroom #1, Rich and Ricky could have #2 and Dollar could have #3. I will take the couch or anyone has a blow up mattress I will use that and sleep in the living room. Is everyone cool with this idea?

I think that if there a couple rigs that we would like to consider as prospective members, there would be no problem having them tag along given they make their own hotel arrangements. That is just my opinion though, what do the rest of you think?

Have not heard from Dollar, but he said earlier he was cool with the barn if he had a room. Everybody else is a go with the barn, so it is all good. Bring $75 cash or check to pay for the room. I am of the mindset that if we invite 3-4 more rigs it would be completely fine. The idea of a members only ride is kinda lost when only half the members are going. I think 8 rigs would be max, but if somebody wants to meet us there and handle their own accomidations it is fine with me.

Can't wait till this weekend fellas! I am not brining any food for dinner this go around, so I will be rolling into town each night. Rich said something about Mexican food and good margaritas one night!

What time is everyone rolling out Thursday? Rich and I are gonna carvan up around 5:30 or so. Total cost is $75/PERSON, so bring cash or check. They said to pay when we get there so we may need to to bring cash/check for John tonight, or have reimbruse him on Thursday since he will be there first.

Thursday around 10AM, Must beat the traffic :flipoff1:

I'll be happy to handle the money, I just need contact name and phone numbers. If check, leave the pay-to blank and I will just hand it to them. Cash is good loller.gif

What is the total I will owe them upon arriving?

$450 is the total, if you can write them a check upon arrival we can all bring you $75/person when we get there. I will get a contact name and info

John, you will pay Peggy she lives onsite in a house across from the pond. The address is 1387 Cove Lane, Oliver Springs, TN 37840. She said you can buy permits at the trailhead but only during operating hours and she is not sure when that is. She said the best bet for permits is in town at the Fun Food Exxon Station near Hardee's. They are open 6am-11pm which will work better for all of us. I think we should all buy our permits on the way into town that way we can head straight to the trails on Friday!

As usual I waited to get my junk ready till the last minute and now I've found a problem.
Who has a Toy front axle housing sitting aroung?

Did I mention this fact lately, I hate Toyota's. Especially white 95 models that belong to me!

They have some "old" charcoal grills that people use, but she is not vouching for them. We may want to bring a reserve just in case. Fully loaded kitchen with silverware, plates, stove, microwave, coffee pot, etc.

Another great trip guys. I enjoyed hanging out with everybody and really liked having a passenger on Saturday, thanks for riding Dollar! I really believe that Friday was in fact the most perfect day of wheelin and fun I have ever had!

Yeah Matt, I think it was about as close to perfect as a day without pepper.gif can be.
