Got "my" harness's in it, put Ambers "buggy purse" in it, been cleaning up some of the wiring and Im going to move the switches.. trimmed some of the corners on the UMHW body panels so they are rounded off lots of lil things yet to get it were i want it. But It will be there soon.

I spent more time getting the garage clean after the "throw together" than anything else laughing1

Thank you.

Those skins look TITS! I'd go colored on the next set though.

WHAT??? Im in love with the dull black finish dood... When I scrounge another hood im going to do it in flat or matte Black so it will match the skins. Im gonna leave the alum wrinkle, rolled, roof panel just as it is. Its got Neal love on it and the color is cool even though its scratched to **** and wadded up a good bit up front from the roll laughing1 at least it wont rust since it is AL

Im going to try to make it to Pull A Part tommorow or early next week for the pulley and hood I need... I cant be rockin without the caddi emblem, thats just not right . :afro:

PS. Saturday afternoon it WILL be running 100% , me and that engine are gonna have a little sit down and IT WILL comply. :spin:

P, what is the McMaster part# for the LARGE threaded tabs that you used for your skins and what not? I'm going to use then for an odd hot rod project and would rather not guess on M-C foresaking the shipping cost.

Ill report back tommorow... Im not at the house right now and wont be until later tonight ( you might get lucky cuz I may need to walk out to the gayrage and get a cold one after Libby Lous and all the screamin lil girls LOL )

Rob, thanks man Im real happy with the "appearance" of it, pretty much just like I had it in my head .. I got a new hood today and some other caddi parts including some really nice taillights out of a 97 Bro-Ham so the rear outta be lookin sick as hell after I get some more free time to sink into it.

Im going to go with a black on this hood try to flow the plastic a little better. Ill also be able to cut this hood much better on to the chassis so there isnt the gap at the back side by the windsheild area.

FIRST THOUGH... get it running like it should be tommorow !! WOOT :woody:

Got it running good, great even was having a blast drag racing it all over the back field for about 30 minutes... Took the ol man for a spin and all that good stuff front dig/ rear brake slides at speed and all that mayhem. Went back over to the garage to find this...

( took it out this morning )

Gonna price a few different options and a make a few phone calls tommorow and see what I have for options. Debating the solid mount deal a little too... I need to figure out exactly how much fab / build time will be required for me to pull it off if I do go that route.

Took a couple shots of it this morning before I pulled the engine and tranny...

Looking at an UltraBell to resolve the tranny issue, along with a new tranny mount since mine had a stripped out bolt in one side which possibly aided in the demise of this bellhousing.

Small things to make it mo betta... Im also looking at running a "steering quickener " thing a ma-jig from summit ( once I find out how much it is) to speed up the steering and I may possible swap orbital's since my dad scored a couple recently to tighten up steering as well. ( the ol JD combine unit has a lil slop in it )

My steering right now is 2.75 turns to lock from center... going from full lock one way to the other requires a flurry of flapping arms and i noticed corrections at speed while I was drag racing this weekend took a little more effort than Id like as well. So thats another to do list item on drivability Id like to correct.

Id like to get these things knocked out prior to the next outting along with limits up front so I dont run into a front driveline issue . Ill be ready to hit Primos full throttle up the middle by the end of the month !!!
