Harlan Early October ride

I would prefer the 7-8 weekend. Already committed to Dixie Run 9/24-25 and that would be two long haul weekends back to back if done 1-2.

There was a big storm hit in Harlan last night some local areas received over 5" of rain, I am sure this much water has changed a few trails for the better and for the worst.

If y'all end up going that 7-8 weekend hit me up. I'm not sure if there's any cabins left as we have about 6 ourselves. But I have one couple that's not sure if they can make it and they've reserved the big one next to the office. That one may come open.

This might just gimme a reason to see what all's broke under my ole green n purple Zuk and get it fixed!

And yes Iv'e always liked stayin on the Putney side....I ain't skeered of some trail riding to get to some obstacles...in fact it makes it more fun!

Been a while since Iv'e wheeled Harlan as well be cool to see some changes in the trails :****:

This... I`ve been saying the same thing.. If ya`ll end up going the weekend before us post up some directions. I wanna check that out.

I've been there a ton of time's but never seen the railroad station, just pictures, my understanding it's a 4 wheelers trail to get you there, I know the hardline ride went there but I didn't make it, I blew a intake gasket coming up the mountain, bummer
 
Date is set for me. If you can make it, so be it. If not, I'll go by myself. I plan on being in town on Thursday and riding all day Friday and Saturday. Sunday I will load up and go back home, wishing I could ride another day. We logged 16 hours driving time last time I was there and hope to do the same. I head out at the crack of dawn, pack a lunch and come back just before dark. I plan on having a fire and mingling with whoever is around. If its just me :flipgotcha: .
