There was a big storm hit in Harlan last night some local areas received over 5" of rain, I am sure this much water has changed a few trails for the better and for the worst.

It hit right around Harlan city - missed probably 90% of the trails. MIght of got some of them out near Pucker etc.

I did creampuff a couple weeks ago and I drove up to the big hole on pony hill but didn't go up it, I'd like to hit it on a Sunday so I wouldn't be so worried about breaking. I be in for this for sure. But I would stay on the Putney side

don't feel bad I've only climbed pony hill one time the other 2 attempts ended up in trying to get back to the trailer with the front drivers wheel almost tore off

Funny that you say that because that's exactly what I thought would happen if I beat it much more, 4,5 attempts, tires were plenty hot, just didn't have the :tc to say go or break!! :****:

Re:

I am still working on housing at this point. I am going to need a map to figure out how to get from one side of the park to the other. I am really looking forward to seeing this park again, rain or shine.

I just reserved a camp spot on the Ohio weekend (sept30-oct3) for the hillbilly hauler. I was just there last weekend and YES the trails are pretty bad in spots.

Absolutely. I'd say I'll wear the misses out wheeling for a little while now that the buggy is useable. :****:

Whatever, you went up creampuff a lot easier than I did, I had to beat my junk :****:
He only went up it his first time, back last year, after watching my little horsepower motor and non stickies smoke it a couple times. :rolf:

I may try to make this one. Never stayed on Putney side....kinda long haul to the good stuff. So what's everyone riding primarily...buggy, full body, juggy?? Know what Selvie (Redline Diesel) is rockin'!

Re:

Ride in a juggy last time, gonna try and do the same. Full bodied would be a lot of damaged sheetmetal for me.

FYI.. anybody needing a cabin for this ride.. I just canceled cabin 3. We had someone fallout. We had it reserved for October 5-9th. Just giving a heads up. This is on the Putney side.

I was worried about finding a place.....let me confirm with cushmaneaglerider and see if he still wants to give it a go.
