Psh. When I talked to ya, I could tell over the phone you were grinning from ear to ear. Talkin about how it didnt break anything on that hard roll, then you beat on it all day and didnt have any trouble out of it.

I ran into a buddy on some powerlines about two months ago, actually a group of old friends. All were on four wheelers except one of my buddies was on a brand-new rzr 1000 , with a rope tied to the front of his being pulled by 1990's honda. I was absolutely amazed?? So when he pulled up I hollered " Bobby that 1000 has to go faster than that". Haha. They were pulling him back to his truck, where he keeps a spare belt? He said it's about the fifth one he's broke. And he's not at an off-road park, just some powerlines with his girlfriend in passenger. And knowing him I can assure you he does not drive stuff like some of us.
can't imagine 20 something thousand dollars and problems like that. The dealer had put some of them on, and he had also. so he carries spares with him now. I just thought it was insane. He was talking about the power that it has is unbelievable. Must be to much for belt drive? I dunno, but I do know is I would not want to be on top of Chocco and a belt snap just playing around. I think we all pretty much know when something might break. But maybe not with the rzr. If I had a bunch of land I could see having one for sure. Man did he ever look fawkin sad.

I love my rzr for sure but being behind the wheel of the buggy is awesome!!! I back flipped barrel rolled my rzr at the MYM bash and Jon still beat it on the rest of the day..... I haven't got to drive the new buggy yet... seeing as how it has a few issues to be fixed but it's getting there!! I like having both when we go ride so that hopefully 1 of them stays together!!!

Craig^^^ has a point... Everything has a limit an people want to go past that ...broke parts mean people will try an build it better an u end up with a badass rhino/buggy. I like both.... My question tho, did that gentleman go buy a 10,000-15000$ rhino an build it into a buggy??
I just can't see spending $$ on razor then treating it like I do my buggy and it lasting very long.

the later is what I'm saying it's cool to have when your main rig is broke so you can tag along on your own with your buddies yes. But then when you see said buddies having a good time and your **** is broke that's when you beat on the rzr try and keep up or one up and that's what happens to me and **** starts popping and everybody is cringing sain what broke and I say don't know but it's still pulling soslytowncrawler2 said:

If you call trails like Windrock t 15, little mule, school bus, rail trail(did rite after I got it stock on 26" tires), t3, t39 access roads then I guess your rite. Not to mention I've put over 2000 miles of rocky ass trail riding on it In less than a year with hardly no issues minus 1 oem axle, 1 balljoints that wasn't broke just replaced due to play and still carry for spare, a arm bushings, blah blah all replaced under warranty didn't cost me a dime. Hope nobody gets offended over my post just seen people dogging "gayzrs" and thought I'd play too.

All those trails you mentioned have bypasses around the "big" obstacles. Granted, a RZR is a completely different size from a buggy, so it is a completely different challenge.
Hell, we used to have the same debate for Yotas and Samurai's on 33s-37s vs Rockwell rigs on 44+" tires.
One of my friends used to say "It don't count when you drive AROUND the ROCKS!", of course I was in a Yota on 35s (very built) and he was in a YJ with 4ws Rockwells on 46" Baja Claws, so 90% of the stuff he was driving over and flexing out on would have flipped me over or was just too tall to even get my bumper over!
It's all perspective.

I didn't even know those trails had bypasses on them but I also do them at night in reverse with no lights so I can't really see anything but the main trail. My golf cart will go everywhere any buggy will in reverse lol

I got passed by a Toyota Carolla on Rattle Rock once. They were lost and asking where any of the hard trails were. Jus sayin.... ;D

Was it a hot chick? Bet it was my sister, I broke up with her one time and she went trying to find me. I asked cause you said they were looking for hard trails and that's where I'm always at.

Which is better, a big horse or a little horse. A big horse can step over a big rock. A little horse can go around the same rock. Either way both horses get there. Which would you rather ride. The razor has take hold of a lot of people, but not me,yet.I am a rock crawler. Razors are not rock crawlers. Most people can take there razor to the top of the hill I climb but not over the same rocks I climb over. The go around some of them. A lot of my friends have purchased razors and parked there trucks, jeeps and such. I like my buggy. I like horse power. I like going through crackhead at GMP. A razor can't go through there. (least ways I haven't seen one go through there yet) it's a lot easier to go to your local store and finance a razor than a buggy. I dont think to many buggy owners( with nice buggys) will park them for razors. My .02.

I bought a rzr so my Wife and Daughter could go watch My Son and I in the buggy. The rzr is a great little support vehicle for flat tires, broken buggies, propane tank refill runs, spare parts, beverages, etc. I ride the rzr if the buggy is being repaired on occasion, but it is no replacement for the buggy, roll the buggy and you are riding in a few minutes, roll the rzr and you have bent a-arms or broken ball joints, plus nothing can replace the sound of a v-8. ;D Just my 2 cents.
